Been waiting on our ninja Lupe Fiasco to drop some new shit, and we been in mad anticipation of the upcoming “Lasers” album, which drops March 8. Produced by Alex Da Kid, Lupe spits some of the realist shit you will ever hear come out of his mouth.

Hip Hop is indeed in a state of disarray and coming to a turning point, where it will either be taken back by true Emcee’s or these corporate rappers who fake like they’re real, i.e *cough cough* Wakka, Gucci, need I say more.

The song is full on booming, with a dope ass beat, great hook with Skylar Gray on it, killing it softly. The blogosphere and music world is calling it, “Controversial”, man fuck that, its REAL. But the lyrics speak for themselves, with lines like:

I really think the war on terror is a bunch of bullshit
Just a poor excuse for you to use up all your bullets
How much money does it take to really make a full clip
9/11 building 7 did they really pull it
Uhh, And a bunch of other cover ups

Thanks Lupe for coming back on the scene with some real shit, to help the people rather then exploit they’re already brainwashed minds. The truth scares people, and they feel safe with the lies they’ve been told and the bullshit that has been perpetrated all around them. Lupe is just here to lift that veil from your eyes.
