“100 Abandoned Houses” is photographic series of 100 abandoned houses in Detroit, Michigan. Once a city of almost 2 million citizens, Detroit has since lost over half its population over the last 60 years.
Kevin Bauman caught this economic and social decline with just photographs of these homes. Dire and grave situation is written all over these images, and is a complete reflection of the decline the city of Detroit has faced in recent years.
